June again

Well in the past week or so we have had some new things happen. Wyatt had his first baseball game on Saturday. It was so great to see him get on the field and have fun. He also caught the last play and threw the ball in. We are hoping he does well in baseball. With him having problems with his leg muscles, there are not a lot of sports he can play. He has such a hard time keeping up with everyone. But we bought him an exercise trampoline and put it in his room. He loves it and thinks its an awesome new toy. Little does he know that it should help his leg muscles develop more. Geoffrey and I have also started the process to adopt. Even if we get pregnant in the next two months, we have always planned on adoption. We just decided that we didn't want to wait along time to start the process. We are going to try to adopt a little girl who is the same age or younger than Wyatt. We don't want him to have to be the younger brother.

That is awesome. I would highly recommend reading Orphanology as you start the process. It does a lot to prepare your heart as well as offer some resources through out the journey of adoption. You can order it online, I bought my copy at Lifeway Christian Bookstore.
