So a few things have happened since my last depressing post. I had my D&C and the doctors have referred us to a fertility clinic where they will try and see what is going on with us and the miscarriages we seem to have.

We went out the adoption hearing in SC and everything went great. We got a little worried when the birth father showed up at our church. We were told he wasn't coming, so it was a shock to us all. However, he did a wonderful thing and did not contest the adoption. Wyatt was so excited when he left, telling everyone that he had a new name. It was funny because he said "But Mommy, I don't know how to spell Johnson." One of the next things we will start working on.....lol. We were blessed to have family and friends show up to celebrate with us and witness the event. The judge told us that he knew the child was loved because we had the biggest group to ever show up for an adoption. And then he gave Wyatt a teddy bear as a gift from the state.


The next thing that has happened is that we have found out that Geoffrey is going to be going out to sea in Dec right before Christmas. Because of that Wyatt and I are going to move back to SC in August so that Wyatt can start school there. Geoffrey gets out of the Navy in March and we were planning to move back to SC anyway. Moving there early just means we won't have to change him to a new school. Also we are going to have to rent out our condo and it didn't make sense to move somewhere for three months. I am going to finish my senior year at USC which I am excited about. Ready to get it over with.

Before Geoffrey leaves he gets a vacation. We are looking into taking Wyatt to Disney World again in Dec. It will be our family vacation before Geoffrey leaves and our very early Christmas. So we have something new to look forward to.
