Wyatt always says stuff that makes us laugh. I wish I wrote down half the things he says because they make me roll sometimes. Last night, Geoffrey put Wyatt and Jacob (his friend staying the night) to bed. Jacob started crying because he missed his mom so they both got out of bed and came downstairs where I was. I went up to tuck them both back into bed and Wyatt started crying because he didn't want me to leave. To try and get them both to calm down, I made a pallet on the floor so that they could sleep together (Wyatt has a bunk bed so they couldn't see each other). After I got them situated I gave Wyatt a hug and went to leave. He said, "mom when you tuck me in and then leave, my heart breaks a little." I thought that was the sweetest thing. I just had to share that with everyone. Especially for Geoffrey's aunt Sharon who loves hearing what Wyatt will say next.
In other news, we have filled out the application for adoption. We are waiting on some friends to finish they recommendation letters and then we will send it in. We also went and got fingerprinted this weekend so that they can do background checks on us. So we have the ball rolling, but we don't know how long the process is going to take. Wish us luck.
