We had a great month in October. The Fair came to town and we also go to take our annual trip to Gatlinburg, TN. Its so beautiful to go up there and be in the mountains when all the leaves are changing colors. Unfortunately, we had to come back a day early because of an emergency back home. While we were there we got most of our Christmas shopping done, we went to dinner shows, rode race cars with Wyatt and even tried to throw in a learning experience at the aquarium for him.
One of the Christmas gifts that I am so excited for Wyatt to get is the Wii we bought. Its his gift from Santa. He has been playing it at physical therapy to get help with balance. He has been doing well that therapy. They originally told us that they thought it would 6 months and he could stop therapy, but its going to take longer. He may be in therapy for the year.
Wyatt has also been an angel for the last 2 weeks. I keep waiting for him to start acting out to make up for all the sweet things he has been doing lately. Maybe this is a growth spurt in personality...lol. It has been wonderful to not have to fuss at him lately. His manners have been wonderful and he has been extra sweet to everyone.
The next big thing coming up for us is going to be our trip to Arizona for New Years. Geoffrey's brother is a chef out there and we are making the trip to spend the holiday with the family. We are excited to go and we plan to see the Grand Canyon while we are there. On the way back we are going to stop in New Orleans and sight see a little since we have never been there.
Then come March it will be Geoffrey's and my trip to Italy. I know I have mentioned it before in other posts, but I am just so looking forward to it. :)
