August
Well I have been incredibly slack the last two months. I have not written any blog updates. I know a few family members who do not have social networking check our blog to see pics and hear what is going on with us. I will quickly try to tell all the latest news.
Well to begin with, we found out in June that we are pregnant. On Monday I will be 13 weeks and entering into my 2nd trimester. We are extremely blessed and excited for this little miracle. We have already painted the nursery yellow and have a friend who is an artist that is going to paint a Winnie the Pooh mural on the nursery wall. I will find out on Oct 4th if we are having a boy or girl. Wyatt says that he thinks it will be a girl, I am presonally hoping for another boy. But only time will tell.
Wyatt will start school again this week. He is nervous to go back for 2 reasons. 1) because he is afraid that he has forgotten too much during the summer, and 2) he just got glasses and is afraid that his friends will pick on him.
He is going into the 1st grade and will continue in the Chinese Immersion program. Who knows what he will learn this year, but its pretty much a guaruntee that he will surpass his parents in intellect.
I also start classes back this next week. I will be finishing up my last semester and as long as I pass all of my classes, I will graduate in December. Which is wonderful timing since the baby is due Feb 25th.
I was put on bedrest with Wyatt 2 months before he was born because of toxemia and preclampsia. My OBGYN has informed that since I have already had it once, that I will most likely have it again with this pregnancy. So hopefully I will be done with my Fall semester before something like that happens.
Geoffrey is still hard at work and still doing the Naval Reserves. He is excited to welcome another child in our family as well. He is surviving the dramatic life that involves a pregnant woman. He has dealt with tears, morning sickness, and headaches very well so far.
Please keep our family in your thoughts because there are alot of changes coming up. Most of them, can not be discussed yet since all the details have not been ironed out yet. I can say that we will be dealing with alot of change in our house for awhile. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we work all these little things out.

Easter
We had a great Easter yesterday. We enjoyed a great service at church Easter morning, and lunch at my grandmother's house with the family. We even got to play with the new baby ducks that our Uncle Darren bought his daughter for Easter. On Saturday we helped out at the church Easter egg hunt and Wyatt of course participated in the hunting....lol. Everyone had a great time, and we once again have too much candy in this house.

April
Well its April 2nd and today is Geoffrey's birthday. We went out to eat at a Hibachi resturant tonight and had a nice quiet family dinner. Its nice to have some time together because the last few months have been so hectic. Geoffrey is coming and going alot for work. In April, he is going to be gone for 3 weeks. I always appreciate him so much when he comes back. You never realize how much you take someone for granted until they aren't around anymore.
Wyatt is back in physical therapy and doing well. His therapist says that she sees an improvement in him. I think that is great and I hope that by this time next year he will be up to full speed. We also got Wyatt's report card this last week. I am proud to announce that he is doing great and his teachers noted that he is reading above his grade level. He read me a whole book the other day and it blows me away that he didn't even start to learn to read until 6 months ago. He has picked it up so fast. We are very proud of him.
Wyatt told us last month that he wants to be baptized. We talked to my dad about it since he is our pastor also. I'm also proud to announce that on May 20th that Wyatt is going to be baptized. I don't think many 6 year olds ask to be baptized in this day and age, so we were proud of him. He's such a great kid, its hard not to be proud of him.
I am getting close to the end of school. I will be graduating in December so I see the light at the end of the tunnel. I will be so happy to have it all done and behind me. I got my class ring in the mail a few weeks ago, and I am proud of it. Its hard to believe that I started college 11 years ago and just now at the point where I can graduate. But I tell people that I took alot of detours in life. LOL.
Well I can't think of any new information to give. I'm sure there is more that I am forgetting, but obviously I can't think of it now....lol. Wyatt got his Easter pics taken the other week. I will post them up for others to see. Hope you enjoy them and enjoy the Easter holiday.

March
Well here it is in March and we have had a great month so far. During my Spring Break we went to the beach. This trip was special to my family since it was a parting gift from my grandfather. When my granddad passed away (almost a year ago) he left each of his children a little bit of money. My mom and dad took that money and booked a vacation for their children and families to a present from my granddad. So we got to take a week long trip to the beach all expenses paid. All we had to do is go, have fun, and enjoy ourselves. My parents could have done all kinds of things with that money, but to know that they spent it on their kids and grandkids says alot about their character. I am very blessed to have my family.
At the beach, we took new family photos, and I will post a few on here. I hope you like them.

Children's talent show
Today I chaperoned the children from our church to our district talent show. Wyatt won a gold medal for a solo, a gold medal for a drawing he did (for his age group), a gold medal for the bell choir that he was in, and a silver medal for the children's choir. We were really proud of all the kids today. Being his mother, I am biased, but I am super proud of Wyatt. Here is the recording of his singing.

February 2012
Well this month, Wyatt has started physical therapy again. They are going to work with him to strengthen his core and gain strength in his muscles. They are also going to try and help him learn to separate certain parts of his body with certain motions. Its hard to explain, but he basically uses his whole body when he runs. His hips don't separate from the rest of his movements and that is something they want to work out with him. He loves the place that we started going. They are specifically for children and occupational therapy. They have a rock climbing wall in their facility with lots of slides and swings. Wyatt is already excited to go back. He is going to be going once a week for an hour. Then we have lots of stretches that he has to do every night when he gets home.
I am hoping that this therapist will help him. I always feel so bad for him when he plays with other children. He can't keep up with them when they run and he gets out of breathe so fast that we have to sit and let him take breaks when we are out walking somewhere. I don't care if he never becomes a star athlete, I just want him to be able to be in a PE class with his friends and not feel inadequate. He is going to have enough struggles as he gets older with other medical concerns, that I don't think that running and playing should have to be a burden as well. Please be praying for him. I will keep the blog updated on his progress. He is working hard already, so hopefully his body will start cooperating.

Please be praying
We just got a call about a possible sibling group for our family. Our worker is going to send our information to the children's worker, so hopefully she will like us. Its a group of 3. A 4 yr old boy, a 5 yr old girl, and an 8 yr old boy. They have just opened up so not many know about them yet. I am so excited!!! I know Geoffrey and Wyatt are too. Wyatt has been asking when he was going to have brothers and sisters. Please be praying for us. I am hoping we can add to our family soon. We have so much love to give.
